Carl has over 15 years of financial services experience, including eight years as an investment representative in the Equities Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co.  He specializes in investments, retirement planning, cash-flow/budgeting analysis and college planning.

Carl received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, with dual concentrations in both Finance and Accounting.  Carl began his career as a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst with Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder’s Corporate Finance Department in 1994.  Carl’s professional background also includes a broad professional investing background, with portfolio trading, hedging and modeling experience at Nomura Securities International, NatWest Markets, and as an Options Principal Member of the American Stock Exchange.

Carl is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner (CFP®).  Carl also is a Certified Educator in Personal Finance (CEPF®), and has taught Finance as a volunteer teacher at the High School for Economics & Finance in New York City.  Carl serves as Board of Education Trustee for the Locust Valley Central School District.  He has served as Board Member, Director and Treasurer of his community's homeowners' association since its inception in 2005, and resides in Oyster Bay, New York with his wife and five children.
